Wild Western Adventure
It's been a while...I am going to ignore talking about that and fill you in on the WHY:
#1 We will be adding a BABY GIRL to our family in November!! This BABY GIRL made me sicker than sick for 8 long weeks....
#2 We have a BRAND, NEW KITCHEN...Tim slaved for 5 weeks while the boys and I stayed at my parents (Tim was there for 3-4 hours every night). The results are amazing, although it is not quite 'done'....will get some before/after pics up soon.
#3 We just got back from 12 days in the wild, wild west, which included watching my baby brother get married to Chelsea, hiking, canoeing, whining, and exploring.
Here are some initial pics. I left the majority of the picture taking to my sister and her fancy camera...there are some up at http://www.ashbyadventures.blogspot.com/.

Girlfriends
My dear friends Rachel and Megan from college came into town on a snowy, icy Friday night....along with sweet Zilani, Rachel's 20-month-old daughter. And when I say sweet...I mean SOOOOOO sweet. Just look at her preciousness:
We had a fabulous weekend in Ohio...going sled riding on Saturday morning in the 2+ feet of snow, talking, talking, talking, being surprised by our fave red-headed college friend Kara on Saturday afternoon, going out to dinner, talking, talking, laughing, enjoying one another's company. The boys loved having extra commotion and Mason was happy to allow the girls to sleep in his bunk beds--such grande accommodations we have here at The Best House... ;-)
And, we had a little drama on Sunday morning, when Rachel received the call that her flight was cancelled because the Cleveland airport was shut down with no power....but it all worked out and we ended the weekend together with a quick drive to the Pittsburgh airport where both were able to get flights out within 20 minutes of each other.
